You only get used bait if you're using the wrong kind of bait for the location. It's the bait that you put on your line, except it was the wrong bait for the fish, and now it's useless. The fact that you can't use it isn't a bug.Woolenthreads wrote: »Fairydragon3 wrote: »I havent even heard if they fixed the fishing bugs. I just dump "Used Bait". I don't mind the fishing but questing earns more gold and does it in interesting ways. ATM I keep crawlers and destroy all other bait.

I hope they elaborate about this kind of theme, mini game feature that's a bit outside the main gaming feature. And let's hope for us, Tamriel Anglers, that ZOS's going to add more features to fishing.

That said I agree that stuff you catch while fishing should be at least useful in provisioning. I mean seriously, you can catch fish and you can make food, but you can't catch fish and make food from it?? C'mon.

FIrst of all, you can get more than 3g for some baits, worms in particular. It's pretty easy to get at least 10g each for them, sometimes more. As far as fishing being pointless, it depends on whether you're the type to chase achievements. There are a number of achievements and dyes to be had from fishing. Here's a couple links that give a more complete picture:skirpowatchb16_ESO wrote: »Just being able to cook the fish would be great.
For now it's just completely and utterly pointless but I don't want to just 'give' the bait away when I can get those 3g from them lol.
Is there a food that increase a stat like health and also increase the regeneration of it? Maybe that could set it apart.

Sigh...
First off.. these guys were talking in June. Rather than necropost an old thread, start a new topic as this one is stale as six month old fish sitting on the dock in the sun. The game has changed since then, but no more than...
Secondly, Have you not seen any of the ESO lives, or heard the Provisioning revamp announced in October for the update 1.6 being discussed in the forums? ZoS promises that you will use fish for ingredients in provisioning recipes.
