Direnni Tower Exploration

Direnni Tower is the oldest structure on Tamriel, and currently represented in game by a model similar to the White-Gold Tower. Feeling curious, I explored it after another run in with a partial server disconnect.

This is where you can normally see Direnni Tower, by Mesantho's Tower in Glenumbra.

On my first swim, this was as close to the tower as I could get. Then I swam around the island and found another way up.

This is where I got stuck and had to relog to escape from.


Interestingly, my chat still updated, but I was unable to do anything other than walk and jump, and everything else was frozen.

But, hey, Direnni Tower, oldest building in Tamriel, buried in an island! Exciting future content, hopefully. Maybe we'll have to dig it back out~

You managed to swim through the slaughterfish? How? Did you have regen abilities on or did you just pop potions? I tried to do it myself at one point but "got Slaughtered."

Now I really wanna try this myself too. It was like the #1 thing on my list of sights to see, and was really disappointed that you couldn't visit it in game. But hey props to you this really made my day.

I was partially disconnected from the game, so I couldn't attack or sprint or take damage (including from slaughterfish), and everything but me was frozen in place. It's happened a few times to me, and it's great to make use of it to explore places like this.

Thank you for doing this. So awesome. I've seen it in the distance from Stormhaven and Glenumbra and wanted to check it out as well, but… slaughterfish.
