Black Senche - please give an option to get rid of the legwarmers...

It isn't the same sort of armor as the other senche have, it looks as though the poor thing is turning up at an audition for a part in Fame!

OK looks like they all have legwarmers for speed upgrade, they get better leg armor for stamina upgrade - I first tried the panther on a character that only had speed upgraded, so it looked different to how my striped senche looked on a character with 60/40/60 riding skill.

Problem is that the black senche with red legwarmers it's just really noticeable due to the contrast in colour that he basically has these things wrinkled up around his ankles.

Even though my initial impression was incorrect, please ZOS allow us some customisation of the visual additions that mounts get, I know some people with horse mounts really despise the saddlebags. I feel like that about the senche legwarmers.

There are many aspects of armor for both people and mounts that I would like to be able to toggle on or off at will depending on the appearance of current armor. I haven't got leg warmers on my tiger so I really don't know what they look like but red on black is not everyone's taste so a hide or at least a dye would be nice.

Yeah, that is how it looks with ALL upgrades. With just speed upgrades, the legwarmers look horrible.

It's merely OK on my Leopard, but those brown-red crude rags on black Panther... please turn them off asap or make them grey or black. The same for the horsies - that speed harness and stamina head-armor look really bad. I mean, really bad.

You don't want cool armour? The stamina upgrade is the one with the coolest visual on all of the mounts!

Also, side-note: I'm only 5 days away from having fully upgraded 60/60/60 on all 8 characters on my main account (as opposed to now when only 2 of them are fully upgraded, and the others are still working on stamina). I'll be glad when I'm done and no longer have to park my characters at the stables before logging off with them...

Impressive, UrQuan. That must have taken a lot of patience. Red leg warmers on black senche-panther does look a bit like Fame, though. Anyone have the saddle bug? My Altmer sorceress does; she sits at the front edge of the saddle. Not so with the leopard mount.

Well, yes and no. The bulk of that was done after the mount changes for 1.6 were announced, but before 1.6 hit. I bought 3 Imperial horses (at 1 gold each) for each of my characters (aside from the 2 who I already have maxed out now - they both already had maxed-out speed horses, and one had a maxed-out capacity horse too), and started feeding 3 per day for all of them. The gear for the black Senche should also be black or dark brown. There is too much of a contrast between the gear and the Senche. It just looks off.

On an unrelated note, anyone have a pic of what a Guar looks like with the different upgrades? I googled it but could only find some armor added to head/tail/toes/legs. Unless that's what the fully upgraded Guar looks like.

What we need is my Tangible Mounts concept. I guess the leggings would fall under the Blanket Category. I should charge that to "accessory" category.

That is exactly what I did on most of my characters too, feeding 3x 1g Imperial horses each, every day.

The only character I didn't do that for was (naturally) the sorc I started after 1.6 - that is the character I tried out the new senche mount on first.

The "fully upgraded" guar looks just like that, but also has front sacks and rear square saddle bags (I put fully upgraded in quotes because the gear appears at level 20 of each skill I believe). Pics of my BAMF guar and Argonian:

I don't even see why mounts need visual upgrades when they can't be toggled or dyed. I'd be tempted to get the panther if I could put royal purple gear on him. But to have a limited time item designed by somebody who probably wears a brown belt with black shoes... no thanks.

I know it looks like QQ, but yeah, poor color choice (or absence of choice since it's the same color as the senche leopard...) for a black panther.

If you want to copy another mmo, do it all the way

how come i dont see any difference on my 60/7/53 guar???

maybe the stamina (im still at 7) is the most obvious ones?

am a little dissapointed last week when i got Nibbles hit 60 on speed and he looks.... exactly the same....

Maybe it changed when they redid riding skill with 1.6, but I'm pretty sure the stuff still shows up at 20. Stamina (armor) is definitely the most noticeable one though.

With that much storage you should have the front and rear saddle bags. Not sure why it's not showing up? My mounts stats were transferred from previous system, not started after 1.6, if that makes a difference.
